Abstract:

This dataset shows shows the ownership status of households (owned free and clear of loan vs. owned with loan or rented) and land (owned vs. leased) in each municipality on Pohnpei. It also contains more detailed information on specific ownership types involved. This geospatial data set was created by Island Research & Education Initiative (iREi) (2017) using information from the FSM census of population and housing (2010).

Purpose:

To show information on the population and households in each municipality on Pohnpei.

Supplemental_Information:

The dataset is included in the Digital Atlas of Micronesia, module Pohnpei, created by Island Research & Education Initiative (iREi), in collaboration with Water and Environmental Research Institute of the Western Pacific (WERI) University of Guam and partial funding from United States Geological Survey (USGS), under WRRI 104-B Program, project # 2016GU302B.
